How were you introduced to NorCal Strength and Conditioning?

Dr. Fragoso, about two and a half years back. Then again with Tom F. who convinced me to sign up.

Favorite WOD/lift:

Lift: It would be a tie between the dead lift and the front squat.

WOD:  Filthy Fifty. It’s brutal and insane, but at the end, you feel like you just made it to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

1 word people used to describe me:


Outside of the gym I like to:

Photography, Cooking, Wake boarding, Hiking in Upper Bidwell, Being Outdoors, Watching the History Channel, Researching new ways to maintain or improve health. And just being around down-to-earth people who just like to lay back and relax over some wine on a hot summer night with a fat steak on the BBQ.

Three things you would ALWAYS find in my fridge:

Fish Oil


Various veggie assortments in individual baggies (no…not perfectionist at all, ha, ha).

Something nobody knows about me or would be surprised to know about me:

My nationality is Cuban/Puerto Rican. I was raised by my aunt and her husband from age 8.

Favorite physical activity outside of NorCal Strength and Conditioning:

Running….nuf said!

Favorite place to eat in Chico:

Hmmm. That’s a three way tie between Pluto’s, Sin of Cortez and Leon’s Bistro.

Fresh Thai Young Coconut

Proudest accomplishment:

Finding the person people spend their whole lives looking for.

6 Month goal:

Do an L-sit pullup!

If you could invite ANYBODY (currently alive or not) over for dinner, who would you invite? Why?

God, because I have about 5 billion questions for him.

Whatever is clean…it might be Lulu Lemon soon…

Natalie Taylor has been participating in sports and fitness activities for over 25 years. She was both a competitive gymnast and swimmer and these activities led into coaching jobs as she earned her degree in physical education. Natalie is a graduate of the Chico State teaching credential program and has been teaching physical education or coaching for nearly 20 years. She has coached both High School and Junior High Volleyball, and the Cross Country and Track and Field intramural program at the local junior high school. Her interest in running and triathlons as well as her background in gymnastics create a superior combination for clients wanting a balanced workout of endurance and strength or clients interested in supplementing their endurance activities with much needed power/speed training and oft neglected flexibility. Finding time for fitness isn’t always easy—however, in just one hour with Natalie you will work multi-joint strength development, speed, stamina and flexibility. What keeps clients coming back? Every session is unique, so boredom never stands a chance! Natalie holds her NSCA CPT, as well as a variety of Cross Fit certifications. Natalie will help to make fitness a functional and successful part of your life.

    Okay ummmmm, soooo, I’ve never seen this video until now….oh boy (errr, girl)! LOL.  Just an educated guess, but I think they’re Pro Prop 8.  It’s just as good.  “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga was runner up. wink
