Welcome Baby Boy: Spencer Gower

We want to congratulate Shane Gower and Jessi Belmonte on the addition to their family.  Baby boy, Spencer Vaun Gower was introduced to this world on September 3rd, 2012 at 4:04am.  Weighing in at 5lbs, 8oz and “standing” 18″ long, with Gower energy and strength in his blood, he is bound to be the strongest man at Norcal Strength and Conditioning when he comes into his own! :)

This is Jessi’s first baby and she rocked her pregnancy.  With the help and encouragement from Shane, eating clean, sleeping well and maintaining a regular workout regime, Jessi stayed healthy throughout the entire pregnancy and was able to bring a healthy, strong boy into this world.  I spoke with Jessi just a couple of weeks before Spencer was born.  She was in the gym and I was praising her for being there and complimenting her on how healthy she looked.  Her response was something to the effect that, she didn’t know any different.  She came to the gym and saw other Norcal moms-to-be rocking squats and pullups with their “baby bumps” so she knew she could too.  She hopes that she set an example for other women who will maybe someday be in the same boat.

Congrats again Shane and Jessi (and Uncle Shawn and Aunt Chrissy).  He is beautiful!
