It’s June! You know what that means…

It means we’re halfway over with 2012. How are those New Years Resolutions going?

I’ve done posts on goal setting, motivation, and achievement (Part1, Part2, Part3, and Part4). Now I’m just putting you on the spot, and asking “Where are you now?” Time waits for nobody… and half your time is already up.


  1. Beginning of June is the best time to renew or get back on your track with your goals, if you have been sidetracked a bit.

    For setting and getting goals, you may want to check out a goal setting app called GoalsOnTrack, a very nicely built web app designed for tracking goals and todo lists, and supports time tracking too. It’s clear, focused, easy to navigate.

  2. I think New Years’ resolutions are awesome. I’ve decided it’s time I have one. Mine is to get my 235 Dead Lift back by Christmas. K, now it’s out there…

I don’t make new year’s resolutions, but I have the (hopefully not too far fetched) goal of dead-lifting my bf’s weight by our wedding in September… I joked once that I would dead-lift him after we are pronounced married right there in front of the guests, and now it is always in the back of my head when we do DL…He’d better slim down to 190 – only 68 lbs. to go from my current max.
