There is no better feeling then setting a Personal Record...whether it is for a diagnostic work out like “Jackie” or a max lift. It is evidence....a quantifiable change that proves you are FASTER or STRONGER or just more FIT across the board.
Last week was our MAX lift week--and many of you showed up to get all three lifts done--Dead Lift, Back Squat, and Standing Press. We had lots of ‘firsts’ for folks...first day in a group class (you rocked it Carlos!), first time doing max lifts, and for some--you had a PR--your best lift yet. All of the new Max lifts scores are posted on the far right hand board--next time you’re in the gym--check it out! What is your goal for next month? A new PR, I hope!
Congrats also to Jerrad Fisher--he PRd on “Jackie” today--that is 1000 row, 50 barbell thrusters, and 30 Pull-ups....all in 6:55...Not too shabby!
