What can you accomplish in 6 months?

Yvonne came to me for training with stated goals of increasing her strength, increasing her muscle tone, and losing weight. Over the last 6 months she put in a lot of hard work! She started keeping a food journal which showed that her meals became more balanced, she started drinking more water, and even started eating breakfast! In no time Yvonne checked off her goals:
• Rope climbs
• Double unders
• Tire flips
• 10 full push-ups
• 125 lb deadlift
• 30 sec static hang on the pull up bar
Yvonne is an example of understanding the difference between “can’t” do and “won’t” do. There are very few things we can’t do. The question is - are you willing to try? These last 6 months weren’t always easy for Yvonne but she found out for herself that if she tried, there were very few things she couldn’t accomplish. You are responsible for exactly who, what and where you are in life. Open yourself up to the realities of achieving your goals and allow yourself to be inspired by others. Begin to replace “I can’t” with “I’ll try” and you will nail each of your goals just like Yvonne!
