Just a little update in case some of you have been wondering where the heck Bill has been. Well...to be succinct, he has been busy winning triathlons and setting personal records!
He placed 1st in his age group at the Pacific Crest Tri in Sun River, OR at the end of June besting his last years time by 10 MINUTES!!!! He said he passed two competitors in the last 50 yards and it was a sprint to the finish. All of you who have trained with Bill (especially in a team workout) know he has the wheels and the drive to do whatever needs to be done to win! A 10 minute PR is simply incredible.
He is heading to the Pacific Coast Sprint Championships at the end of this month to try to qualify for world’s in Australia! Let’s wish him luck!
Oh, and a personal note from Bill: “say hi to all the scum there, I miss their sweating bods and sick humor”
