Lou Mars Drumming Marathon Aftermath

Check out the footage of the Live interview with Lou Mars and the support staff that helped him make it to 108.5 hours of his quest to beat the Guinness Book of World Records drumming marathon.  Thank you to everyone who helped make this event the success that it was.  We could not have gotten him as far as we did without ALL of your help!  You can also check Robb’s blog for his personal account of the event.

Awesome job Lou, it was amazing!  Okay, now about the Paleo challenge.  Ever since I did the 3:30-7:30 shift where I had a blast dancing and witnessing for Lou I have not slept well or eaten as well as I know how (lou & staff how did u do it for so many hours?).  It seems as if all the stars have been aligned against me this week...my 3 year old isn’t sleeping, which means I am not sleeping, work has been over the top stressful, time has been limited and I am doing nothing but making poor choices! The only thing positive about this week is I have been able to make it to the gym.  So is it time for an intervention? I was going so strong and now just feel derailed but I am not willing to give up so...where to go?  Robb- I am sure you have a good comeback to my whining...or trainers any butt kicking statements or good suggestions (or anyone else?)? So my first step is to turn in detailed food logs,...trainers beware!

Hello Cheri:

Thanks you for the kudos and your volunteering for the event!

What is amazing to me is that the solution to your stress, baby crying etc is to eat right! Not wrong.  Eating right reduces stress, builds self esteem and simply creates better and more positive energy. No burnout.

Surround yourself with a positive support team like I did, and before you know it you’ll never want to go back as you will taste how foul the food is that you are currently consuming.
