Hot Potato Squat Potato!

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 our CrossFit kids class meets for 30 minutes of fun, skills, and game play!
We have introduced many of the basic crossfit movements including the squat, body row, push up, wall ball, knee to elbow and even the snatch! The kids spend a few minutes getting warmed and reviewing a skill, and then we pump them through a quick work-out! The best part—is of course the game at the end! If only we all just kept hanging on the monkey bars and playing freeze tag….we’d have maintained the agile, fearless, fitness of these young crossfitters! Check them out in their WOD…and playing the game ‘Squat Potato’. You guessed it….before you pass the ‘hot potato’ you must squat! If you get caught with the ‘hot potato’ you run a quick lap before joining the game again. Watch out adults….this game may be coming to your Elements class soon.
