Consistency is Key

We all have our days, or sometimes weeks--that it seems nearly impossible to make it to the gym and feed ourselves well.  Sometimes--life just gets in the way! 

In order to live our lives well--it means making ourselves a priority.  When we allow ourselves to do that, things tend to get back on track.  It is all one vicious cycle--that if ignored--can leave you feeling pretty beat up.  The good news is--after one of these benders--there is this gravitational pull that helps you to get out of your own way--and find that happy place again....you’re sleeping well, you make it to the gym on a regular basis, and funny enough--eating good food just comes easy!

Come up with a few simple things that you do for yourself--that make your life easier.  Pack your lunch the night before.  Get yourself to a CrossFit class twice week.  Go to bed at a decent hour. 
Choose one thing to do this week that will help you to feel good--and then stick to it.  It might take a few days--or even a few weeks, but you’ll find out that consistency is the key!

Check out Danielle---she has been consistently coming to her personal training sessions for the last 5 weeks--and low and behold---that pull-up she’d been chasing---she found it!  Not just once--but twice in row!  Congratulations Danielle--on being consistent--and getting two pull-ups in a row.  You rock!
