With all the pomp and circumstance we can muster at 7AM—CrossFit Norcal is happy to welcome 9 new crossfitters to our group classes. These guys and gals completed our 12 session introductory class and shaved several minutes from their first day work-out times….not too shabby!

The kipped pullup is a skill that takes strength, coordination and just a wee bit of rhythm to pull off. Even for folks that come in with numerous strict pullups, the kipped pullup can prove quite the challenge. I’ve been seeing some serious pullup improvement amongst some of our newer folks! Awesome work! Just remember, once you can link 2 together, then 3, you’re off to the races!
Check out Robb working with CrossFit studette Nadia Shatila teaching the Kipping Pullup!

Our clients kick-ass. That is an indelible fact. Y’all show up...more or less on time. Bring good attitudes (although 6am is a little tough to wake up at times) and you offer friendship and community to your classmates and our staff. Like I said, y’all kick-ass. Occasionally however...one of you get..."stuck".

No, this is not a special brand of Columbian “cocaina”. This is the metaphorical slap to the head life deals us when needed. As a trainer, I am called upon to deal out “The Shaman’s Blow”.
Let me explain:
