Kick A** Kale Salad

I woke up early Saturday morning and after a large cup of coffee, I gathered my basket & cash and headed down to the Farmer’s Market.  This particular morning, I had kale, bell peppers, peaches and grass-fed beef on my mind.  I found everything I wanted and then some…without breaking the bank.  I got this large bunch of kale for only a $1!

Friday afternoon....103 degrees....Beth’s B. Birthday!  Of course she’d be at CrossFit NorCal ready to sweat it out before she heads out on the town (or in her own words “home to take my O-3s and then to bed!").

One Great Event--Three Outstanding Causes!

On September 26, 2009 CrossFit NorCal is hosting its 4th annual Fight Gone Bad Athletes for a Cure/Wounded Warrior Event! This year we are adding a little twist. 

Labor Day WOD--full of team labor!

We had 15 folks show up to get some work done on Labor Day!  Leave it to Katie--aka “Fitness Brat"--to create a doozy of WOD for anyone crazy enough to show up on a day off!
