Fight Gone Bad….Are YOU ready?

This past Friday we saw the first of several prep WODs for the upcoming Fight Gone Bad IV.  Maybe you missed this jumpstart, but not to worry you still have four more weeks to kick it into gear.  Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26th--and bring your best fight!

Lots of new faces headed to Elements

We just finished a round of On-Ramp classes--and we’ll have 13 new faces in class starting next week!  Make sure to play nice....at least for the first week wink

Quick and Easy--Dinner Tonight!

We love it when clients provide recipes that are simple--and fast to get on the table.  This recipe relies on pre-cooked and pre-sliced ingredients found at our favorite store--Trader Joe’s.

New Times for Classes starting September 1st

We’ve had lots of folks comment that it is tough to make it to the gym by 5:15--due to work schedules and Chico traffic (it ain’t big city traffic--but still traffic for us!).  So starting September 1st, all of the afternoon classes will be shifting to start on the 1/2 hour.

How close are you to reaching your goals?

Wasn’t it just MAY?  It seems like it was only last week that the trainers were harassing everyone to get a goal up on the goal board! In just a blink our summer has slipped away.

One More Reason To Fight

I’m sure most of you at this point have heard about our upcoming second annual Fight Gone Bad fundraiser.  This year CrossFit Norcal has added another reason to fight!!  One of our own members here at CrossFit Norcal, Angela Herrick, is organizing a fund raising event to raise money for an extremely rare disorder called Rett Syndrome.

Birthday Treats

A week ago I was stretching a group of four clients—and one of them commented that she is so good about getting everything set for her kids as they head into this school year…good breakfast, lunches packed, veggies with dinner….but it is so difficult to take care of herself too!  “Wouldn’t it be nice if someone would just take care of me for a week…make my food, pack my lunch, maybe even throw in a load of laundry?”

Egg cupcakes to go

If you listened to Robb’s radio interview, his parting words sounded something like this...make sure you eat breakfast...and make it real protein...cut out those poptarts!
