Hard Working Mamas and a New Elements Class!

We just wrapped up our mom on ramp class and the mama’s in the class sure kicked some serious booty!  We all know how hard it is to be a mom - sleepless nights, countless diapers, feeding hungry little ones, cleaning noses, all while trying to stay cheerful and sane!!!

CrossFit NorCal vs. CrossFit South Brooklyn!

The guantlet has been thrown!  Our good friends at CrossFit South Brooklyn think they have a better pool of athletes...we obviously see things differently.  We have decided to have some friendly affiliate battles to see how we all measure up!

Scramble it Up!!

Are you tired of the same old breakfast??? Scramble it up a little!

Paleo Party--means REALLY good food!

Dain Sandoval has been crossfitting for a couple of years.  He’s dropped a few pants sizes in the process--thanks to making the switch to Paleo eating.  Dain’s wife Shannon is currently in our PM On-Ramp.  Eating paleo doesn’t have to affect your partying!  Check out this email that I got from Dain last week:

Memorial Day Work-Out

If you happen to be cruising back into to town after some Memorial Day fun--we’ll be having an all level work-out at 5:15 on Monday, May 25th.

YOU’RE HOW OLD?

As the new CrossFitters just learned...birthday workouts are not anything like “typical” birthday parties.

Becka’s Bars

Most folks who roll down to CrossFit NorCal have met Becka.  She’s a level 1 athlete, an extremely hard worker, prone to black eyes from martial arts....and...my favorite...wickedly creative in the kitchen.

MAX Back Squats…This Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Did you miss the Max Back Squat last month?  Make sure you make it to a class on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday this week and have a go at getting a new max posted on the board.

It’s BBQ Season! Enjoy!

I found these two recipes on the Feel Good Eating blog, changed a few things around because I didn’t quite have everything they called for, but results were (OMG) yummy!

MAX Pull-ups----A New Champion!

The day AFTER completing the NorCal Qualifiers--this guy cruises into the gym--to “recover” and posts a new gym pull-up record....of...drum roll please...63!!
