Transferable skills!

It is one of my favorite things to hear how our client’s lives outside the gym improve because of the work they do inside the gym! Case in point, this letter from David Howard:

There is no better feeling then setting a Personal Record...whether it is for a diagnostic work out like “Jackie” or a max lift.  It is evidence....a quantifiable change that proves you are FASTER or STRONGER or just more FIT across the board.

Glen Cordoza doesn’t disappoint!

For those of you that witnessed it—you will agree that last night was well worth the wait!  Glen Cordoza stepped in the octagon focused and determined—with a positively ELECTRIC crowd behind him.  Quite honestly he looked possessed. 

Same ol’ chicken…brand new flavor!

Sometimes I feel like I just can’t handle another darn hard boiled egg! But what’s a girl to do if all the food for 12 hours must be packed in an assortment of plasticware--and hauled around for the day?  This Pesto Chicken Salad is one of my favorite ways to make the same ol’ chicken taste brand new...and it’s edible without heating or utensils--a big plus!

CrossFit Games Prep Day: April 11th

The 2009 CrossFit Games are just over 3 months away, and CrossFit NorCal is getting fired up to send their top competitors to the qualifying event on May 2.

We have all been within ear shot when Paleo Man has been ranting about “Meat, vegetables, nuts & seeds, little starch, and no sugar”.  Some of us have actually been through numerous Nutrition Seminars with “The Robb Wolf” and know that it is more than ranting—it is science.  Science that is often shot down, despite valid and current research.
