Congratulations Shawn C. and Julie L.

Admittedly, I’m a sucker for fairy tales and happy endings, and during Thursday evenings LIFT class, the romance filled the air. Why you may ask? Because this Saturday two of our awesome Norcal clients are getting married! Congratulations to Shawn C. and Julie L. on your upcoming nuptials and it was so much fun coaching you both through your wedding workout.

Like I said earlier, I’m kind of a hopeless romantic so I wrote a little poem for the happy pair that included hints to what their pre-wedding workout would be. I am obviously not a poet, but they got the point and it was good for a laugh. Of course the evening started with bear crawls, the move that made Shawn famous around these parts…

Shawn and Julie’s Wedding Workout Poem

Time has crawled by like a bear but now the day has drawn near for when Shawn and Julie will wed!

Some say “ball and chain” or that “marriage is insane” but this loving couple gives us hope!

So please; never fear, true love is here and their bond is as strong as our rope!

They have proved they can jump really far and reach as high as the bar and together they’ll row life’s boat!

With great strength Shawn can lunge to protect his true love and Julie can run like the wind.

To be with her man with a ring on her hand even if down the isle they limp.

Now and forever and thrusters ever after, we wish this sweet couple into bliss.

Now I hope that they know how much they are loved and now let’s start this wedding workout with a kiss.

Now here’s some pics from the evening, and it should also be noted that with all the
love in the air, it lifted Joann B. right to the top of the rope for her first climb all the
way to the top!!
