Brian Mackenzie is coming to Chico!

As an aside, Brian is no arm-chair coach, he lives what he preaches. Here is a sampling of his bio:

Brian Mackenzie is an expert in strength and conditioning for endurance athletes as well as the creator of CrossFit’s Run Endurance Certification. He is a Level 3 CrossFit Certified Trainer and is a Level 3 POSE Certified Running Coach.

Brian is the co-owner of CrossFit Newport Beach, and operates an internship for professional trainers. He has been a competitive Ultra Runner. He has competed in Ironman Canada along with several ultra marathons ranging from 50k to 100 miles including the Western States 100 and the Angeles Crest 100 on limited training and utilizing CrossFit as the cornerstone of his programming for not only his training, but all of his athletes.

  3. You are seriously in for a treat! Jan 08 I went to the trial run cert as an avid runner, suffering from hip, knee , low back and shin problems on my right side. I have never been taught that there is an actual RIGHT way to run. During that weekend my run technique got corrected and believe it or not – all the pain that I suffered while running was gone. I cried because now I would be able to run without pain, and even get faster and maybe get back into the race scene too. Listen to everything BMack and Carl says, they’re awesome coaches.

I can attest to all that Robb has said- & after watching him struggle (in a good way a lot of times) with all his un-ending passion & energy for as long as I can remember he is living his calling in this crossfit/endurance thing! He may get a little intense but it’s just fuel for the fire he’ll ignite in you. Have fun!

Jan 08 I went to the balloon run absolutely as an ardent runner, adversity from hip, All Time Fitness, Fitness Gym and Fitness Fquipment Informationlow aback and shin problems on my appropriate side. I accept never been accomplished that there is an absolute RIGHT way to run. During that weekend my run address got adapted and accept it or not – all the affliction that I suffered while active was gone. I cried because now I would be able to run after pain, and even get faster and maybe get aback into the chase arena too. Listen to me
