Chrissy

Chrissy Gower has been involved in the CrossFit NorCal community for over five years. She graduated from CSU, Chico with a degree in Liberal Studies and then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Education as well as a teaching credential. In addition to Chrissy’s well rounded education she has also been a competitive athlete and was a member of the Chico State women’s waterski team from 1999-2000. After years of seeing and feeling the positive impact that CrossFit has had on her life Chrissy chose to make a career change to personal fitness training. Chrissy can help you to improve any element of your fitness, be it body composition, strength, flexibility or cardiovascular endurance. She is a Certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and a Certified CrossFit Kids Coach.

    Spring Team Challenge

    On Saturday, April 19th we will be hosting our 3rd annual Spring Team Challenge.  This will also be a potluck event and as a twist…each team will be responsible for bringing one Paleo dish. The teams will be judged on their dish and will be given a score that will factor in to their overall score with the workouts!     Hey everyone! Saturday kicked off both our Lean Out and our Fitness challenges. Our potluck had quite the assortment of tasty dishes.     New On Ramps Starting 2/24

    We have two new On Ramps posted online. Our on ramp classes meets three days a week for four consecutive weeks. This class is designed to introduce the movements we have in our on going group classes. Our morning on ramp class will meet at 7am on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.     Many of you know Melinda as one of the very dedicated 6am ladies. Melinda started a few years back at NorCal SC training with Robb and Nicki.     2014 NorCal Team Challenge Recap!

    Congratulations and a big thank you to all the competitors from Saturdays event. Twelve teams from ten different gyms came together and put on quite a show.
