There are a lot of good things going on at Norcal!  From bottom to top, we have new Norcal stickers available at the front desk and in case you missed the Facebook post, you can put them on anything!  Ideally something you like, such as a favorite Klean Kanteen, your iPad, your car or your kid.  As for the new apparel we have girls tank tops, mens shirts, and the shirt that has been asked about more than any other, our “ATHLETE” (For Life) shirt.  This shirt represents all of you at our gym.  Some of us were Athletes back in the hay day others are on their way, but for a few hours a week at Norcal you get to be the Athlete you once were or the Athlete you are now trying to become. Look for these shirts Next Friday 3/2.   On that note we are glad to announce the upcoming Team Norcal Challenge!  Here is the skinny on how this will go down.

1. You sign up on the white board next to the water cooler (Starting Monday 2/27)

2.The cost of the competition is $10 comes with (T-Shirt and a Paleo Pot Luck) Oh and its a cool shirt!

3. Only those that are up for a challenge and want to have a good time should sign up.

Q&A:

What if I am not in the best shape, can I still compete?

Ummm……YES of course!  We want everyone from Current On Ramp folks to Level 1 & 2 Athletes to compete.

Who can compete?

Everyone listed above, but this event is only for Norcal members so if you have friends that are in really good shape and love to workout they are more than welcome to come…..and watch

What if I hate losing and I am a poor sport?

Well that is perfect, that is exactly the reason we will have multiple cameras going at all times.

When is it?

Oh yeah I totally forgot, it is in 2012 (Before May and after March)

Will it be teams or individual?

Well this is where it will get fun, you sign up for a challenge and the “you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit”

Now that I have answered all of your questions (not even a little bit).  Actually, what I hope is that people get excited about this event! Hopefully, you all are team players and really enjoy some friendly competition. (with prizes for the top 3)  All the actual details will be released Monday 2/27 at 6am right here on this vary blog!  Please post any questions you may have to the comments section and I will do my best to answer them ASAP!  We honestly are stoked to finally have a event at Norcal again, and this time it will be about our members!
